Reuse, Reduce, Recycle

A friend and I have been working on baskets.  I finally finished mine today.  I used a sheet I had , I reduced the space required to store the sheet, and I recycled some purse handles to make this tote.  I think it turned out really well, thanks to my friend Carol who helped me get it going.  The black trim is some black polyester I found in my stash.  The inside has a padded cardboard bottom with some material from Carol and more of my black material. So tickled, just had to share.

  2. Yes, it is fun to make something out of nothing. Can hardly wait to design and make the leather bags. We really are fortunate to live in the land of plenty.
